10.1 Why Quality Systems Matter

Quality is not accidental. It is the result of intentional systems and disciplined practices.

Without a quality system, content quality depends on the individual creator. With a quality system, content quality is consistent—regardless of who creates it.

This chapter establishes the quality system for TFG content—review processes, approval levels, version control, and continuous improvement.

10.2 The Quality Philosophy

Core Principle

Quality is not perfection. Quality is alignment with purpose.

A piece of content is high quality if it:

1. Aligns with the TFG mission and values

2. Meets the editorial standards

3. Serves the intended audience

4. Achieves its intended purpose

Perfection is not the goal. Purposeful, meaningful, and useful content is the goal.

Quality Definition

At TFG, quality means:

10.4 The Self-Review Checklist

Before submitting content for review, the creator must complete this checklist:

10.5 The Editorial Review Checklist

The editor reviews the content for editorial quality:

The editor provides feedback to the creator. The creator revises based on feedback. The process repeats until the content meets editorial standards.

10.6 The Technical Review Checklist

The production lead reviews the content for technical quality:
